Change is good. Moving to a new home, job, or country is always a kafuffle. There’s the packing, sorting, and culling. Then there’s the transport of goods and, at the other end, there’s the unpacking, sorting, and more culling.  It seems people always move things they think they need, and end up throwing out or giving away more after the move.  Although this process causes human beings to feel unsettled for a time, in the end we come to realize there is joy in the change. We feel free to begin again; unencumbered with extras we no longer have any use for. It is the same when making a change in our bodies. Fat that won’t be required for survival doesn’t need to be stored. It can easily be let go by changing the body into a fat burning furnace. Changing your menu to eat the right foods and adding some exercise to an already busy week may feel unsettling at first, but in the end, change is good
